Welcome to Dicle Islamic Society

Dicle Islamic Society is founded by a group of Turkish-Canadian businessmen and academicians who are inspired by the teachings and example of Fethullah Gulen. The Institute aims to facilitate dialogue on a whole range of social issues, regardless of any particular faith or religion. It stands for democracy, human rights, the non-instrumentalisation of religion in politics, equality and freedom of speech. Our primary aim is to teach cultural and religious values to the Turkish community, focusing on the youth. Additionally, Dicle society holds a great emphasis in teaching moral values to the community. Our doors are open to anyone who is interested in Turkish culture and Islamic values. We are frequently organizing various events and courses aimed at strengthening the relationship between people in our community.
